Purpose of the role<\/strong><\/p>\n

The BigID Implementation Engineer is responsible for the hands-on technical implementation and controlled roll-out of BigID within an enterprise environment. The role focuses on realising concrete use cases, setting up and validating an effective scanning strategy, and guiding the transition to Business as Usual (BAU). The engineer ensures a stable, high-performing and well-documented BigID implementation that is supported by the organisation.<\/span><\/span>

Key tasks and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Validating and fine-tuning BigID classifiers.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Rolling out, configuring and validating BigID use cases, including: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Data labelling<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Access Intelligence<\/span><\/span>\n
  • Remediation workflows<\/span><\/span>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Designing, setting up and validating the scanning strategy, including: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Determining scope, prioritisation and scan frequency<\/span><\/span>\n
    • Alignment with infrastructure, capacity and performance requirements<\/span><\/span>\n
    • Validation of stability, performance and scan results<\/span><\/span>\n<\/ul>\n

      \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Integrating and configuring dashboards and reports.
      \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Helping to develop the roll-out strategy.
      \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Drafting and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks and configuration guidelines.
      \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Training and supporting internal teams.\u00a0
      \n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Supporting the handover to operational management (BAU).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      Technical qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrable hands-on experience with BigID implementations within enterprise environments.
      \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In-depth knowledge of: <\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

        Data discovery, Data Loss Prevention and data classification<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n
      • \n

        Access Intelligence and remediation concepts<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/ul>\n
