Role and Responsibilities

Your role is to act as the IT PMO specialist: ERP Migration that supports a dedicated part of the IT portfolio. Our client is embarking on ERP migration journey and looking for a seasoned PMO specialist in this domain. You support the IT Department Heads, Project and Portfolio managers as well as release train engineers and scrum masters on topics like financials and progress reporting, planning and quality assurance.

You challenge your stakeholders on the effective and consistent use of our clients’ processes & methodologies. By providing clear analysis and insight on portfolio financials, progress, quality, issues and risks you support senior management in effective decision making. You are fluent supporting the team by:
 

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure the ERP migration stays on track.

  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support the migration process.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the ERP migration to minimize potential disruptions.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including project teams, management, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and transparency.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure specified requirements and standards are met.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, generate status reports, and provide insights to stakeholders to keep them informed of the project’s status and any issues that arise.

Education and Experience

  • Important: ERP migration knowledge;

  • Understand complex matrix organizations and balance stakeholders’ needs;

  • Education: relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree;

  • 5-10 Years of working experience in project/portfolio management and/or SAFe in a large, international organization, working as project management officer, or a similar position;

  • Experience in data analysis, providing advice and preparing scenarios for senior leaders;

  • Sound knowledge of, and working experience in project & portfolio management methodologies like PMBOK/Prince2 and MoP;

  • Sound knowledge of, and working experience in SAFe, Agile and Scrum;

  • Preferably, you have working experience with Microsoft Project Online, Jira (Align) and Spotfire.
