The Identity & Access Management Agile Release Train (ART) is responsible for supporting the entire organization with seamless and state of the art Identity and Access Management systems and solutions. All teams work Agile and are moving into a DevOps way of working, you built it, you own it! The IAM ART consists of teams focusing on Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management (AM), Directories as well as Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and services.

Job Mission

As an Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Developer you are part of an Agile team that is responsible for the operation and innovation of our IGA solutions. This team is owning the technical design, architecture and migration strategy for IGA within the IAM landscape. Currently, the team is working on implementing our new platform SailPoint IdentityIQ which is running on a cloud IaaS and phasing out our current platforms RSA IG&L.

As a senior developer you are expected to have a broad understanding of IAM, the role of IGA within IAM and the relations to other IAM domains (DIR, AM & PAM). In your role, you will provide support and guidance to the team with implementing SailPoint’s best practices and sustainable processes. Therefore this role requires strong collaboration and communication skills. In addition, topics like Agile, DevOps, CI/CD/CT based automation and standardization are known to you and are part of your skills and competences.

As a IGA Developer, you work closely together with your team members, IGA Product Owner, Scrum Master, the IAM System Architect, other teams in the IAM ART and stakeholders from the business.

Main responsibilities

  • Development, co-owning the technical design, configuration, and operational activities within the IGA (SailPoint) landscape;
  • Contribute to refinement of features into stories for the implementation of the designed solutions line with the IAM architectural principles, standard IAM processes and the company strategy;
  • Develop, validate and implement functional and non-functional design patterns for the onboarding of business applications into the IGA solution;
  • Be proactive towards driving standardization and automation;
  • Support DevOps practices within the IGA teams and the use of CI/CD/CT tooling.

Requested Skills

  • Min 3-7 years professional experience with Identity & Access Management;
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience with IGA and professional experience as hands-on developer with SailPoint IdentityIQ;
  • Experience should include Application onboarding/integration using out-of-the box connectors and custom connectors;
  • Experience in development of Identity lifecycle workflows, user interaction Workflows (Forms) and Policies;
  • Experience in development and customization of Rules and Tasks to facilitate IGA processes;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Role management concepts in SailPoint;
  • Experience in building out of the box/custom reports and dashboards;
  • Hands on approach in troubleshooting  server, tasks and performance issues in the SailPoint platform;
  • You have experience with server, database and application life cycle management in Azure cloud ;
  • Experience with CI/CD/CT automation is a strong pre;
  • Experience with the DevOps way of working and working in an Agile team; experience with SAFe is a pre;
  • Sound understanding of security technologies, best practices, and security policy frameworks.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills. Command of the Dutch language is a plus.

Education and Certifications

  • Master or Bachelor degree in a technical area like Computer Science;
  • Security knowledge strong pre;
  • SailPoint IdentityIQ certifications are a strong pre;
  • Agile + SAFe certifications are a plus (scrum.org and/or SAFe®certifications).
  • You are in possession of a valid work permit for The Netherlands.

Context of the position

  • Within the IAM team you will align with peers, IGA System engineer, IAM System Architect, the scrum master and the Product Owners on operational planning and progress;
  • The team consists of onsite and offshore team members operating from Veldhoven/Eindhoven, the Netherlands and Hyderabad, India.
