SAP Business Process Architect

Department / Project:

The Enterprise Applications (EA) department is responsible for translating business requirements into IT solutions and maintaining & supporting these IT solutions at a functional level. This department supports multiple business domains (like Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing Operations and R&D) with a broad range of applications / applications suites. Mission of the department is to accelerate business value through innovative solutions and focus on operational excellence.

At this moment the EA department is supporting the NXP Digital Transformation program. This program is one of NXP’s most important strategic change programs, sponsored by the NXP MT.
As part of this transformation NXP is looking for top-notch experts that help, in cooperation with Business- and IT stakeholders, to shape the future of NXP’s way of working.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Business Process Architect to join our team and support our digital transformation efforts. As an SAP Business Process Architect, you will work closely with our business stakeholders and IT teams to identify business requirements and develop SAP solutions that support business processes and enable digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

Provide subject matter expertise in SAP business processes and support the digital transformation journey
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
Analyze current business processes and solutions within assigned domain, identify areas for improvement and optimization, and recommend solutions to meet organizational needs.
Act as sparring partner for the business organization on digital transformation and innovation.
Shape the enterprise (reference) architecture within assigned business processes or technology domain, matching business strategy and reference architecture.
Organize and execute all required activities to deliver quality designs.

Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements
Configure and customize SAP modules to meet business needs
Develop and maintain project documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test plans, and training materials
Conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP modules and business processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business functions, to deliver solutions that meet business objectives

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP implementation and support as a Business Process Architect
Strong knowledge of SAP modules, including but not limited to, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning and Finance
Hands-on experience in SAP configuration and customization

Preferred competencies:

Experience with large (digital) transformation programs in a global context
Experience with SAP (S4HANA, including S4 extensibility and integration concepts)
Experience with business process (re-)design

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
