Senior Consultant SAP Procurement & Material Management

The IT division supports information management, infrastructure and key business processes across ASML. The IT infrastructure, hardware and applications are mission-critical for ASML’s internal and external activities. ASML IT works Agile, using the SAFE framework.

Role and responsibilities

One of ASML’s Agile Release Train (ARTs) is Sourcing & Supplier Collaboration ART. Within this ART we are looking for a senior SAP consultant in the procurement domain, with experience in the high tech industries product related procurement processes.
You will act as first IT contact for business stakeholders and business product owners in the ASML sourcing & procurement organization. You will play a key role in IT development and implementation projects. You will be working in an agile environment inspired on the SAFe framework, where you work on larger epics as well as smaller changes. You challenge the business on their requirements and processes in order to realize a fit in standard IT solutions. You translate the requirements into functional IT specifications and implement those in the mostly SAP solutions. This means you create the functional design, customize, test, train key-users and take the lead in this whole process.
 

Education and experience

– More than 7 years as a SAP consultant in the procurement domain
– Experience in a high tech B2B environment
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in for example information technology or industrial engineering
– SAP certified in the relevant solutions
– SAP MM (e.g. purchasing, material planning, inventory management, etc.)
– SAP LES (e.g. inbound/outbound logistics, ASN, etc.)
– SAP Ariba Network
– Good communication skills with a speak-up mindset.
– Experience in working in an agile environment.
– Fluent in English, verbal and written. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
– Eligible to work in Veldhoven, The Netherlands (on site at least 3 days per week)
