Introduction to the job
Do you get energized by supporting a high-tech manufacturing process and driving structural improvements through data? As a Data Analyst, you will directly support the Production Engineering teams. By navigating data migrations and building advanced visualization tools, you ensure that our engineering environment has the exact insights needed to optimize quality, cycle time, and efficiency on the shopfloor.

Job Mission and context
EF ENG sets the pace for industrialization and continuous improvement. Our production engineering teams are currently operating in an environment undergoing a full-scale ERP migration to SAP, which introduces complex challenges regarding data mapping, data quality, and legacy system integration.

  • Our Mission: We enable engineering and factory strategies by transforming raw transactional data into clean, actionable business intelligence to continuously improve production processes.

  • Our Vision: Technical Excellence. We deliver high-end dashboarding and reporting solutions that support Production Engineers in their journey of continuous performance improvement (Cycle Time, quality, and cost).

Team and organization
You will join the EF ENG department, working in a fluent English-speaking, multidisciplinary engineering environment. In your day-to-day job, you will closely support Production Engineers (PE), collaborating with data engineers, First Line Support (FLS), and factory stakeholders to align various cross-functional data streams.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support Production Engineering: Act as the go-to data partner for PE teams, translating complex manufacturing and engineering requests into structural data solutions.

  • ERP Migration & Extraction: Independently dive into SAP ERP / SAP HANA architectures to map, extract, and clean raw data fields during the migration transition phase.

  • Dashboard Design: Design, build, and maintain advanced interactive dashboards using both Microsoft Power BI and TIBCO Spotfire to visualize engineering metrics.

  • Data Querying & Automation: Write complex SQL queries to blend datasets from multiple legacy systems, and use Python or R to automate data cleaning pipelines.

What success looks like (KPIs for Production Engineering)
You will develop the dashboards and data models that allow Production Engineers to drive core manufacturing KPIs, such as:

  • Cycle Time (CT) reduction across factory milestones.

  • Disturbance recurrence tracking (e.g., DN/MN logs).

  • First-Time-Right (FPY) execution and tracking procedure quality.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or analytical field (e.g., Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering).

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst within a high-tech manufacturing, engineering, or complex supply chain environment (No starters; must be immediately deployable).

  • Proven hands-on experience with SAP data extraction and data mapping within migration projects.

  • Extensive experience with advanced dashboard design in Power BI and TIBCO Spotfire
