Project Manager Security – SIEM/SOAR

For our direct endclient in the region Noord-Brabant, we are looking for an interim Project Manager Security, for a SIEM/SOAR assessment project.

• 32 hours per week from which 2 days onsite

• 3 months with option to extend

• zzp allowed

Project Overview: The SIEM/SOAR assessment project is an assessment initiative aimed at determining the most suitable technology vendor for the SIEM/SOAR tool. The project will also involve developing a business case, identifying staffing requirements, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the assessment project to determine the appropriate SIEM/SOAR technology vendor (shortlist of three);

• Develop a comprehensive business case for the SIEM/SOAR implementation and BAU (staffing, license cost);

• Identify and document staffing requirements for implementation and BAU;

• Coordinate with various departments, including IT, security, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of the SIEM/SOAR solution;

• Manage the project timeline, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are completed on schedule;

• Conduct vendor evaluations and manage the selection process;

• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management;

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a project manager in IT security or related fields.

• Strong understanding of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) technologies.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

• Agile/Scrum.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience with vendor evaluation and selection processes.

• Familiarity with business case development and staffing requirement analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with SIEM/SOAR projects.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, or CISM.

• Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in IT security.
