Roles and responsibilities:
As a data analyst you will:

  • Be responsible for maintaining and improving Spotfire reports; for both ad hoc questions coming from factory users and for improving and maintaining our existing Spotfire dashboards. Experience with developing Spotfire dashboards is a must. Other tools, such as Databricks and Python, and Power BI are also available to use to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Support the factory with with analytics, mainly using Spotfire, but other analytics & BI tooling is also available for use: Databricks and Python, and Power BI.
  • Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
  • Need the ability to understand business questions and challenges and be able to translate them to reporting & analytics requirements.
  • Need the ability to compile data from multiple platforms and systems.
  • Perform data preparation and data engineering.

Education and experience:
Master’s degree in Information Management, Econometrics, Data Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science, Robotics, or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.
Drive and passion are always key within our client, but we consider the following experience as a must for this position:

  • 2 – 8 years of experience with data analytics.
  • Knowledge of working with data platforms, data analysis and visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience with Spotfire (must) and/or other BI tooling (Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, SAC).
  • Experience with data analytics in Databricks, Python, R or equivalent is also advantageous.
  • Experience with basic Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Experience in a complex, international environment is a plus.
  • Drive to innovate and discover new technologies.

In this role, you will interact with stakeholders at various levels within the factory. Everyone from the Planning Director to an Install Project Coordinator—and from Breakthrough Project Lead to First Line Support Engineer—could be your internal customer.
