Qualifications:

Responsibilities/tasks:
• Senior Associate Engineer, IT Lab Support independently conducts assigned project related migrations and related laboratory IT Engineering operational activities. The role supports former Merus laboratory IT operations and integration activities into Genmab lab and IT standards. Maintaining, supporting and performing integration projects by executing defined procedures, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to process optimization efforts.
• Execute maintenance, support, and lifecycle activities for former Merus lab IT systems, ensuring reliable and compliant operation of laboratory equipment and computers.
• Independently conduct activities related to assigned laboratory IT security and integration projects and processes within the engineering domain.
• Participate in interactions with internal and external stakeholders (vendors) to address laboratory IT issues and operational needs within own area of responsibility.
• Assist in optimization of standardized and pre-defined engineering processes within the laboratory IT environment.
• Periodically present results, status updates, and findings in team or project meetings.
• Support delivery of IT solutions, including participation in upgrades, migrations, and implementations aligned with GLP, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
• Follow the applicable procedures and transition into Genmab standards and ensure documentation (CMDB, BOPs, WIs) is maintained accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to data gathering and reporting related to operational performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements/requested skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in relevant IT engineering domains, preferably within laboratory or regulated environments.
• Experience supporting delivery of IT solutions and participating in IT processes and projects.
• Foundational knowledge of defined procedures in regulated environments (e.g., GLP, GxP, GDPR).
• Foundational knowledge of relevant IT technologies within own area of responsibility.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a global environment.
