Building on previous achievements, the Chief Data office (CDO) is stepping up to support and enable the organization to leverage the value of data, and ultimately contribute to ASML’s ecosystem cost-efficient sustainable growth.
Role and responsibilities
The Data Program Manager will support the data strategy execution. This role will support the successful delivery of data strategy streams by overseeing CDO program management, maintaining financial oversight, and support driving continuous improvements in quality and efficiency. This role will work cross-functionally with teams to achieve excellence in execution while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the highest standards of performance.
1. Program Management & Support

Drive execution of CDO priorities by aligning content, strategy, finance, and timelines across teams.

Maintain a program management framework, monitor progress, and manage risks proactively.

Standardize project processes (planning, finance, reporting, risk, quality) and facilitate key decision meetings.
2. Budget and Financial Oversight for CDO

Support budget ownership and ensure efficient resource allocation and spending.

Deliver financial reporting with variance analysis and corrective recommendations.

Collaborate with finance and CDO MT to meet financial targets and manage resources effectively.
3. Quality & Efficiency

Establish high-quality standards and methodologies for data programs.

Lead continuous improvement to boost efficiency and reduce waste.

Define and track KPIs and OKRs to measure and report program success.
4. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

Serve as the main contact for updates on the CDO data program.

Present regular status, financial, and efficiency reports to senior leadership.

Ensure transparent communication on priorities, risks, and milestones across the organization.
Education and experience
You are a relationship builder, known for your strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills that enable you to translate complex requirements into tangible impacts on processes and systems. You grasp the content deeply and guide stakeholders and colleagues through strategic outlines to drive decision-making. With a clear understanding of the Chief Data Office’s vision, you translate it into actionable steps within programs. You are open to feedback and committed to growth, both operationally and interpersonally, demonstrating perseverance in the face of challenges and setbacks. Your entrepreneurial mindset ensures accountability and execution within defined frameworks, while your enthusiasm and sense of humor inspire those around you. You are driven to grow professionally and bring others along with clarity, focus, and energy.
Ideally you bring the following profile:

To raise need of proficient program and success metric management in complex and changing environments, plus financial and quality rigor.

You have 8+ years’ work experience, preferably in a Data related role (Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Management).

Master’s degree
-
Knowledge and expertise of the data management framework, policies and standards. Knowledge & experience of our primary business processes where data is applied.

Demonstrated experience in project or program management teams.

Demonstrated experience with the SCRUM/agile working method; Experience with the role of (chief) product owner or scrum master in a combined product owner and analyst position. Agile certification.
Other information
The Data Program Manager sits in the CDO, within the IT & Data sector. You will report to the Lead Programs & Efficiency of CDO. You will work closely with the entire CDO team and with their stakeholders, at different levels of the organizational hierarchy.
The CDO combined internal and external workforce spans a direct global team of beyond 600 that serves across ASML. Their data enabling services include data management and governance, data and analytics platforms, data analytics delivery and AI services enablement, as well as serving data management transversal orchestration, in strong partnership with the organization.
