Senior Projectmanager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver a cluster of strategic Security related project workstreams across multiple domains. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to design, build, and deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful execution within the agreed triple constraints (scope, time, budget).

This role involves managing cross-sector Security related projects, including Run, Sector Change, and (Security) initiatives, while driving collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and measurable value delivery.
 

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the execution of complex, cross-sector change Security related projects to achieve defined business benefits.
• Own project planning, budgeting, and delivery in line with agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Guide and steer project teams across sectors, ensuring alignment and progress toward shared goals.
• Apply Lean thinking to streamline processes and focus on value-adding activities across the value chain.
• Manage change effectively, addressing resistance and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Handle complex stakeholder environments, from operational teams to senior management.
• Define KPIs and reporting structures to track project progress, value realization and make data driven decisions.
• Provide regular updates in project meetings, program boards, and (security) committees.
• Escalate and intervene when necessary to ensure project continuity and success.

Your profile?

• 15+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in complex enterprise environments.
• Academic degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Business Information Management, Computer/Data Science, Econometrics, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies, PMP and project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
• Experience in managing cross-sector Security related projects is a plus.
• People- and Result driven.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
