IT Support Engineer
As IT Support Engineer at you are, together with your colleagues, the first point of contact for IT related incidents and tickets for all our employees across the globe.
In this role, you support the optimization of our IT-Tools and you pro actively monitor our network dashboards to signal and prevent underlying problems.
You are motivated to continuously improve and optimize your work activities, and you are looking for ways to automate repetitive actions.
As an IT Support Engineer, you are part of the IT department in the Shared Service Center (SSC). This department offers IT services to all our Users across the world. You will be part of a young ambitious team global internal IT support team.
You successfully fulfil your role by:
Operation & Incident Management:
- Workplace management and support for internal workplaces such as User software, system drivers and network components.
- Ensure all employees can work safely and effectively with the IT equipment needed.
- Manage, process, analyze, document, plan and prioritize all incoming incidents.
- Keep users informed and updated on the status of their incidents.
- Facilitate a smooth start for new employees regarding IT topics.
- Initiate and realization of process optimization and automation of repetitive tasks.
- Assist colleagues in the 2nd line.
- Participate in Stand-by shifts when necessary.
Support Services:
- Monitoring and management of all the IT hardware.
- Monitor and manage the IT infrastructure.
- Identify and solve recurring incidents.

Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- You have a relevant educational degree (It management, computer science or equivalent combined with certificates like Cisco, Microsoft MCSE).
- 3 – 5 year’s experience as a Support Engineer/ incident manager with coordinating skills.
- Good verbal and written skills in the English language.
- Motivated to keep up with and understand the latest developments in software and IT and translate them into opportunities.
Knowledge of ITIL, Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 11 is a big plus
