The role

As a Global Data Governance Specialist, you will be part of the central Data Office and contribute to the rollout and implementation of the enterprise data governance framework.

You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, playing a key role in improving data quality, implementing governance structures, and enabling a data-driven organization.

This is an international role and can be based in Eindhoven (NL) or Toulouse (FR).


Key responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders across various data domains and support the implementation of the data governance roadmap
  • Define and establish roles and responsibilities related to data governance and data stewardship
  • Implement data governance policies, standards, and processes across the organization
  • Improve and monitor data quality by defining KPIs and metrics
  • Guide data stewards and business teams in adopting governance practices
  • Support the development of data management and technology roadmaps
  • Ensure compliance with data, privacy, and security regulations
  • Drive adoption of data governance principles throughout the organization

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Data, Business Analytics, Law, or a related field
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, or consulting
  • Proven experience with data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and federated data domains
  • Experience with tools such as Databricks, Informatica, Collibra, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of data architectures, data management processes, and analytics environments
  • Knowledge of data regulations, privacy requirements, and emerging technologies such as AI/ML and Generative AI
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive change in complex organizations
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (e.g., Jira) is a plus
  • Experience in the high-tech or semiconductor industry is a plus
