Job Summary:

 

The OEM Sales team is responsible for the development of new customers and identifying new (product or market) opportunities for eldoLED products. The Senior Technical Sales Manager reports to the VP Sales & Marketing EMEA & APAC. The Sales department has a regional set up with different clusters of countries such as North (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland), South (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece), DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg), UK and Rest of the World. You will be responsible for the technical sales in one or more of these regions.

 

Key tasks & responsibilities:

 

1.Being the technical eldoLED product and application expert towards customers, both remote and via customer visits in close cooperation with the (Regional) Sales Manager/Agents to grow future business. Visiting existing customers and/or new customers to enhance their knowledge level on eldoLED products, application and to guarantee progress in existing projects, divided in:

a. Pre-sales and demand creation activities from a technical point of view (e.g. determine product design-in, advice and guide the customer in how to technically implement the eldoLED driver and how to achive the best lichting performances. b. After sales activities related to problem solving and advise the customer on how to use our drivers in their fixtures and also in the application (including lighting controls and integration into building management systems).
c. Quality support if the customer has a quality issue, together with the regional sales manager you will represent eldoLED and manage the solution process.

2. Enabling new business development, by gaining market insights and translating the technical customer needs on features, new products and updates on the existing portfolio. Thereby contribute to the portfolio roadmap, which foresees the customers’ needs in future together with product management.

3. Involved and strong voice in the Commercial Release process of new products, together with the Test&Validation team. All activities are to lead to the commercial release of the product towards the start of the production process and subsequent market launch.

4. Responsible to build product and solutions training programs for the (Regional) Sales Managers, Agents, Customer Care and our channel partners.

5. Drive efficiency by developing the right technical tools and way-of-working; ‘answer once, service many’.

6. Organize and maintain the competence level of the TSM team through training and coaching the TSM team. Upon request facilitate the eldoLED technical sales training.

7. Dealmaking, be part of the deal making team together with other Sales members, team of engineering and productmanagement.

Qualifications Work Experience:

 

• Bachelor electronics or equivalent (HTS Electronica);
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in a technology environment, preferred in the lighting industry;
• Able to confidently engage at all levels, including executive levels, within our customer base;
• Willing to travel, in the technical support of customer visits. On-site support and/or (lighting) events.
• Preferred to have knowledge of the lighting industry and smart building control systems;
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
